about
What to say, what to say... About time passing and things changing and nothing ever staying the same? JVA has played at least one show a year since 1999, making our band old enough to vote, buy porno, and adorn our bodies with questionable tattoos. A lot of time has come and gone in our years together, but a few things have stayed the same: We remain the same friends that hawked our cars for recording time and toured on shoestring budgets. We had great times playing songs for lots of people, and sometimes, to no one. Life is short. Remember to enjoy the small things as much as the big things. Revel in good memories. We love the past, the sacred, the good times we've had, but are pushed on by the passing of time. ❤
lyrics
If my steel bars, plaster, bricks, and mortar could talk
I would have a lot to say but I no longer stand tall
I would have a lot to say but I no longer stand tall
at all see I'm feeling torn down
I'm the talk of the town
...and if I don't make a sound
Well you know how it goes, there wasn't anybody around
What to say what to say
It's about time that I admit
I promise to
Never forget you
At the surface I'm thriving my absence is blue skies, and big plans for something
I'm the nice guy
I'm cutting my losses
Prodigal son
Development can blossom
But deep down
Parasites break down everything that I was
Earthworms squirm out all my lasting traces
Pour a bottle out on our resting places
You're great for giving out a taste, yeah.
I'm yesterday's news,
But I'm good enough for you.
What to say what to say
It's about time that I admit
I promise to
Never forget you
Let's have this conversation.
Just one last “Give this a try.”
You may not know this but you are the standard
The remaining brain neuron firing and thinking
The most important thing I'll carry from Lincoln.
Lincoln, Nebraska.

The JV Allstars are a pop-punk band from Lincoln, Nebraska. Established in 2000, they started like any band does, by sucking. In time, they got a little better and had lots of fun and toured a lot and released a bunch of music. Thanks!
